Purple Political Dialogues

Pre, during, and after the federal election, Purple Foundation organized a series of discussion programs on national and regional televisions and radios in all seven provinces of Nepal. The main objective of these discussion programs was to provide a platform for public discourse and debate on opportunities and challenges of political inclusion of women and gender and sexual minorities, particularly during the elections. Television and radio talk shows allow for a more dynamic exchange of ideas, serve to inform the public about political issues and provide a space for informed discussion and debate on gendered violence, consequences, and possible solutions.
