Purple works to empower survivors and those who are at high risk of being exposed to modern-day slavery (trafficking, domestic violence, exploitation, child marriage). Purple completed a project "Ujjyalotira" in Sindhupalchowk district where the rates of trafficking are high and helped create a sustainable livelihood for the participating survivors by equipping them with skills. A total of nine survivors of trafficking and domestic violence were provided skill training and a 'bakery production' shop was established in Sindhupalchok district. The bakery shop is running to date.
