About Us
Purple Foundation is a not-for-profit company, founded by passionate women professionals and activists in Nepal in 2019. The organization is a pioneer in the anti-slavery movement, collaborating with key international and national organizations, government, private sectors, and political leaders. Purple works with survivors-led organizations (human trafficking, ex-bonded laborers, workers in informal sectors), gender and sexual minorities, people with disabilities, Dalits, and marginalized communities. We aspire to create a slavery-free society where every individual can live with equal rights and full dignity. Purple Foundation addresses the issues of the people at risk of modern slavery, and advocates for social justice. Purple Foundation works for structural change through research and policy advocacy, rights education, technical assistance, and networking and partnership.
